Sahyog Foundation works towards enhancing access to quality and affordable healthcare in India. To achieve this, we have organized various health camps in and around our workplaces in rural areas over the years, making healthcare accessible to the disenfranchised. These camps are conducted with the help of medical teams from premier health institutes. We work closely with local community leaders and other service oriented institutions for the successful execution of our camps.
Patients who are prescribed spectacles are provided with these at a minimal cost from the campsite, while those who need detailed evaluation are referred to hospitals for further diagnoses. Till now, a total of 354 camps have been held, benefitting 56,349 patients.
Patients diagnosed with cataracts are given free treatment, and lodging, if required Sahyog has conducted 1784 successful cataract surgeries, saving thousands from a lifetime of darkness.
